Mexican Rail Reaches Out to Kansas
The Mexican Government will invest US$ 8 Billion in the nation’s railways system.
Some of this money will be invested in improving the railway connectiosn between the USA and Mexico in the border areas of Nuevo Laredo and Tamaulipas.
This is based on a long term plan by the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation, and the increasing congestion at these cross border points.
This is part and parcel of the Government’s plan to improve and increase logistics connections between the USA, and Mexico, and to improve Global Logistics bottlenecks between North America and Asia.
