Monterrey to Develop a Logistics Fast Lane to Texas

The State of Monterrey is upgrading its Logistics infrastructure to improve it cross-border traffic with the State of Texas. THe Secretariat of Communications & Transportation is supporting a project to build a special trade complex on 750 hectares in Monterrey, with its own customs facilities.

The Government is considering investing up to a Billion US Dollars to develop rail terminal facilities that will connect the new complex with the State of Kansas in the USA.
The Government is looking to partner with private enterprise to bring in another US$ 2 Billion.
